Paella is a traditional Spanish dish that originated as rice
with the week's leftover meats/fish/vegetables, like many other Mediterranean favorites such as Italian Pizza (bread with leftovers), French Cassoulet (beans with leftovers), or Moroccan Cous Cous (semolina with leftovers). Refined over the centuries, many "leftover" dishes are now considered gourmet dishes with high nutritional value, and inspired by these, we offer a whole new take on toddler food: baby paella!
